Back in my video days in Vancouver, Canada
Hello! I’m YC, based in Taiwan and Canada.
After working a decade in video production (from weddings, events and promos to marketing), I’m transitioning into travel photography. I picked up my first DSLR as a hobby in 2009 and have been documenting my travels ever since.
I am especially drawn to historical architecture that tells stories. As an introvert, I naturally gravitate toward quieter scenes without crowds. That perspective led to my first solo exhibition, Timeless, which showcased how architecture around the world tells human history.
My photographs have been featured by organizations and travel boards, including the International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators, Taipei Tourism and Sandeman Porto, through their social platforms.
When I’m not obsessing over buildings, I recently picked up crochet, but spend far too much time watching videos on how sheep’s fleece gets turned into yarn…
Whether you’re looking to collaborate, commission new work or license existing photos, I’d love to hear from you!
